This guitar features the officially licensed original Steinberger design. It has a full size guitar scale (25.5", like a Strat) so it can be tuned to the standard E tuning.
It's headless design has Steinberger style locking tremolo and tuners on the body side. The neck is maple with a solid thru-body design ( the wood that the neck is made from extends through the length of the body, not just bolted or glued on).
Each pickup has a mini toggle switch and the humbucker has a coil tap (so it can be split to be played like 2 single coil pickups instead). It has a fold out leg to make it easier to play while sitting. It also has one volume and one tone control.
Its a good choice if you like the compact Steinberger design at a cheaper price. The downside is that it has to use Steinberger type strings.
