This Steinberger guitar is a full size guitar in a compact design. It features a full size adjustable guitar scale and can easily change keys with an integrated capo tuning system. It weighs approximately 6.4 lbs.
The strong headless thru-neck design with tuning machines on body side help minimizes the overall length. It has a fold-down leg rest for playing while seated and includes gig bag.
It's not the cheapest travel guitar but it is well constructed and overall, a very nice guitar. The ability to change keys so easily is definately a plus.
The Steinberger tuning system makes the design compact, but may be the biggest negative. Since it is so compact and unique, the tuning system requires special Steinberger type strings.
